Worship
The Holy Spirit gathers us to worship God and give thanks for all He does for us through Jesus. Worship is central to our common life of faith at St. Luke. We gather each week to support one another, to worship God, to learn about the love of Jesus, to be strengthened through God’s word and sacraments, and to be sent out to share God’s love with the world. We invite you to join us Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM for our weekly worship service. We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday. You will many voices in prayer and reading the Bible. Music at St Luke is a gift from God; organist, choir, hymn singing, and special music . Worship service is live stream on our Facebook page.
Food Pantry
At St. Luke we take seriously our Lord’s call to feed the hungry and to share our blessings with others. We have a food pantry that is open during church office hours (Tuesday-Friday 9AM-2PM) to all who hunger or thirst. This pantry is stocked by donations from our faithful members and is one of the ways we share God’s love and care with our community. Once a month we have food bags give away with cook free food bags and bags with items that require cooking.
Winter Coat Program
Throughout the year at St. Luke, we collect new and gently used winter coats and distribute them during times of the year when cold weather hits. We generally have a few coat giveaway days each year, but we always welcome those who could use a warm coat at other times to stop by during our office hours (Tuesday-Friday 9AM-2PM).
Shoe Boxes
We gather items to place in Shoe Boxes as part of Operation Christmas Child. We have a packing party to pack the shoe boxes.
Small Groups
Small Groups are the Craft Group (meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 11 am) and the Men’s Breakfast (meets weekly at 8:30 on Tuesday). We are planning to start more small groups.
Youth/Family Ministry
We have activities for children and families. Youth meets 2 Sundays a month after worship. Some of our special events include an Easter Egg Hunt, Vacation Bible School, a back-to-school celebration, and Trunk or Treat. Family Recharge events will start soon. Young Disciple Time is on our Facebook page weekly.
